Our arrival at L'Écrin Cœur de Vignes
The morning of July 14th: a day that promises to be special
We knew that the city would be hosting one of the most spectacular fireworks displays in France that day. And from the very beginning, you could feel it: heavy traffic, a throng of visitors. But we, from our peaceful haven, enjoyed a tranquil awakening. Coffee on the terrace, a few laps in the pool, reading in the shade. While thousands of people jostled to find a parking spot… we were serene
An afternoon of complete freedom while the city freezes
In the afternoon, the city practically grinds to a halt. Families laden with coolers or folding chairs search for their ideal spot. As for us? A short stroll through the old town, a visit to the market, and then back to peace and quiet. No stress, no need to anticipate or rush
The long-awaited moment: the blaze from our terrace
When the city empties, we prolong the magic
Once the fireworks were over, we saw long lines of cars trying to leave. And us? We simply continued our evening. One last dip in the pool, a few laughs under the stars, and the certainty of having experienced an unforgettable Bastille Day.
